Dr Claire Porter
Dr Claire Porter graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2011, and has been with us at Rockingham Dental Centre since 2013. Since graduating, Claire has dedicated herself to the pursuit of excellence in dentistry. She has attended an extensive and broad range of professional development courses in the fields of aesthetic dentistry, minimally invasive dentistry, dental ceramic restorations, periodontal therapy and endodontic (root canal) therapy. Claire is a general dentist with a particular interest in the finer art of dental techniques and caring for patients with dental phobias. The Rockingham Dental Centre philosophy for prevention of oral diseases is one that Claire is passionate about.
Claire was born in Rockingham and grew up in Geraldton. She learned to love the art and science of dentistry from a young age; Claire’s father is a dentist as is her sister. Claire practiced in Geraldton for one year after graduating, however many happy childhood holidays has brought her back here, to the beaches and relaxed atmosphere to practice dentistry in Rockingham.
In her leisure time Claire enjoys the lost art of dressmaking, crafts, cooking, gardening and restoring her heritage listed Fremantle house built in 1880.
